Why would you ask me about your
career?
What do I know that you don't?
It's simple…
I have over 40 years of REAL
experience in the music business, and I've been teaching
this subject to REAL musicians and entrepreneurs, like
you, for almost 10 years.
However, you could:
Take a class
BUT that will be 8-16 weeks
of your life where you'll have to sit in a room
with too many other people, and you still may not
have your question answered.
Read a book
BUT, well, you'd have to
read! We all know what business manuals can be
like (mostly theories contrived by people who haven't
even worked in the music business), and by the time
you're finished reading it, industry standards have
already changed! I make it my job to stay up on all
the latest industry's practices, not to mention, I'm
out there working in it everyday!
Consult with someone else
BUT I can guarantee they
don't have the experience I have (tours, hit songwriting,
successful management, getting screwed out of millions,
etc.), nor have they worked with some of the best
musicians and businessmen and women in history. I
can't tell you the number of clients I have had who
went to other consultants, and ended up having to
come to me to help them clean up the mess.
Hire a lawyer
BUT you're going to pay double
what I charge, and, most likely, they will not
want to take the time to teach you something. It's
your career, and you need to know as much as you can
to survive! As the old saying goes, "knowledge
IS power!"
